Beyond the home, product, collection, and cart experiences, Posy ships ready-made templates for About, Contact, and FAQ pages, plus styled blog, policy, 404, and password pages — and two build-your-own tools.
Using the page templates
Create a page in Shopify admin → Content → Pages (previously Online Store → Pages), then in the Theme template picker on the right, choose about, contact, or faq. Open the theme editor on that page to customize its sections.
About page
Three sections tell your story, followed by the same Reviews and Newsletter sections as the home page:
- About hero — Eyebrow text, Heading, Subheading, and an optional stats row (Show stats with three value/label pairs, e.g. Stat 1 — value / Stat 1 — label). As always, use real numbers.
- About story — Eyebrow text, Heading, Paragraph 1, Paragraph 2, and an Image.
- About values — a heading plus Value blocks, each with an Icon (Heart, Checkmark, Sparkle, or Gift), a Title, and Text.
Contact page
- Contact hero — the page introduction (Eyebrow text, Heading, Subheading).
- Contact form — submissions arrive via Shopify's contact form, emailed to your store's sender email. Settings:
- Subject options (comma-separated) — the choices in the form's subject dropdown.
- Thank-you heading and Thank-you message — shown after submission. Use
[name]and[email]as placeholders — they'll be replaced with the submitted values. - Button text, plus the info card fields: Email address, Phone number, Support hours, Social handle, Social platforms. Replace the sample values with your store's real details.
- Store locations — a stylized map with pins. Each Location block has a Location name, Location code (the short pin label, e.g. "NY"), Address, Support hours, Phone number, and two sliders — Map pin — horizontal position and Map pin — vertical position — to place the pin.
FAQ page
- FAQ hero — the page introduction.
- FAQ accordion — one Question block per question, each with Group, Question, and Answer. Questions with the same group name are shown together under one heading — keep same-group questions next to each other in the block list.
- FAQ contact CTA — a closing "still stuck?" card with Button text and Link URL (point it at your contact page).
The FAQ accordion and FAQ contact CTA sections can also be added to any other page.
Blog & articles
The blog list page has Eyebrow text and Subheading settings; article pages are styled automatically, including author, date, and featured image. Comments follow your blog's comment settings in the Shopify admin.
Utility pages
- Policy pages — your refund, privacy, and terms pages (from Settings → Policies) render in a clean reading layout with an Eyebrow text setting.
- 404 page — a friendly not-found page with Heading, Subheading, and Quick links (a menu picker) to route shoppers back to shopping.
- Password page — shown when your store is password-protected: Eyebrow text, Heading, Subheading, and optional social URLs, plus the password form.
Build-your-own sections
- Custom section — an empty canvas with an optional Background image that accepts theme blocks, letting you compose your own layouts from Posy's building blocks directly in the editor.
- Custom Liquid — a Liquid code field for app snippets, custom HTML, or third-party embeds, with a Full width toggle. Code you add here is your own: test it on a duplicate theme first, and see our support policy for what we can help with.
