Getting started with Posy
Posy is a soft, editorial Shopify theme by TriSoul Digital, made for boutique stores — jewelry, beauty, fashion, and gifts. This guide walks you through installing the theme, picking a style, and finding your way around the settings.
Install Posy
- From the Shopify Theme Store, open the Posy listing and click Try theme to preview it on your store, or Add theme to install it.
- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes. Posy appears in your theme library.
- Click Customize to open the theme editor and start editing, then Publish when you are ready to go live.
The Posy style
Posy ships in a soft violet scheme built for beauty, crystals, jewelry, and gift stores. It is what you see on the demo store, and it is what you get when you install the theme.
Violet is a starting point, not a constraint. The whole theme is retinted from five color settings, so you can take Posy anywhere your brand needs to go in about a minute. See Alternate palettes below for ready-made recipes.
How Posy's colors work
Posy is built on just five base colors, found in Theme settings → Colors:
- Background — the page background.
- Text — headings and body copy.
- Borders — card outlines, dividers, and input borders.
- Accent background — buttons, badges, and highlights.
- Accent text — the text shown on top of the accent color.
Every other tone in the theme — soft tints, deeper accent shades, shadows, and placeholder colors — is derived from these five automatically. That means you can retint the entire store by adjusting a handful of pickers, and everything stays coordinated.
Alternate palettes
Want a different mood? Copy these five values into Theme settings → Colors for a complete, coordinated retint. Each one is balanced for contrast and tested across the theme.

Favicon
Favicon image — the small icon shown in browser tabs and bookmarks. Use a square image, at least 32 × 32 px.
Typography
Two font pickers control all text in the theme: Heading font and Body font. Both draw from Shopify's font library, which includes system fonts (fastest) and a wide range of licensed web fonts.
Layout
- Page width — choose Narrow or Wide for the maximum content width.
- Page margin — the breathing room between your content and the edge of the screen.
Colors
The five base color pickers described above, plus Input corner radius, which rounds the corners of form fields, search boxes, and quantity selectors across the store.
