Localization & gift cards

Posy is fully wired for Shopify's markets, currencies, and languages — the theme follows whatever you enable in your Shopify admin, with no extra configuration.

Countries & currencies

When your store has more than one country/region enabled (Settings → Markets), a country/region selector appears in the footer — controlled by the footer's Show country/region selector setting. Shoppers pick their country and see prices in the matching currency.

Every price in the theme respects your store's money format — including prices that update live via JavaScript, such as cart totals, the free-shipping progress bar, and variant price changes. If you include currency codes in your money format, they appear consistently everywhere.

Languages

When more than one language is published (Settings → Languages), a language selector appears in the footer next to the country selector — controlled by Show language selector. All of Posy's built-in interface text is translatable — use Shopify's free Translate & Adapt app, or edit the default theme content from the theme's options in Online Store → Themes.

Gift cards

Posy styles the full gift card journey:

• Buying — on gift card products, the Buy buttons block automatically includes Shopify's recipient form, so the buyer can send the card to someone else with a personal message, on a chosen date.
• Receiving — the gift card itself (the page linked from the recipient's email) is styled to match your store, showing the balance, the code, an Add to Apple Wallet button (when wallet passes are available), and a print option.

Gift cards are issued and managed by Shopify (Products → Gift cards); the theme handles the presentation.
